1.問(wèn)題句中的信息內(nèi)容根本沒(méi)有在文章中出現(xiàn);
Passage one:
In western countries (西方國(guó)家)today, more and more (越來(lái)越多的)foods(食物) have additives(添加劑) in them(指代食物). What are additives? 1Additives are chemicals(化學(xué)制品) which(引導(dǎo)定語(yǔ)從句) are put(放入) into foods to(表目的,為了) give them color(顏色) and taste(味道), to stop them going bad(阻止它們變壞), and so on(等等).. 2But doctors say that some additives can be bad for (有可能對(duì)。。。不好)us.
Now let’s(讓我們) look at(看一看) how additives can be bad for our health(健康). Take, for example(拿。。。舉例), a little English girl called Sally Jones. 3sally is two years old and quite(相當(dāng)?shù)? an ordinary (普通的)little girl. But when she was younger(年齡更小), she never(從不) went to sleep(睡覺(jué)) at night. She never got tired(變得疲倦). Finally(最后), Sally’s parents took her to a special(專門(mén)的、特殊的) doctor. He said that she must (必須)never eat food with additives in it. He was sure(肯定的、確定的) that the additives had a very bad effect on (對(duì)。。。有不良影響)her body, and made(使) her too active(活躍的). He was quite correct(正確的). As soon as(一。。。就。。。) 4Sally started(開(kāi)始) to eat foods without(沒(méi)有) additives, she began to sleep well(睡得好) at night. Now she is the same as (和。。。一樣)other little girls, except that (除了)she can’t eat many foods that children love, such as(例如) ice cream(冰激凌), because (因?yàn)?they have additives in them.
1. Additives(添加劑) can reduce (減少) the cost(成本)of some food.A. Right B. Wrong C. Not mentioned
分析:通過(guò)閱讀文章第一段的Additives are chemicals(化學(xué)制品) which(引導(dǎo)定語(yǔ)從句) are put(放入) into foods to(表目的,為了) give them color(顏色) and taste(味道), to stop them going bad(阻止它們變壞), and so on(等等)..,我們可以知道食品添加劑是否能減少某些食物的成本,不得而知,因此選擇C。
2. Doctors(大夫) say that all additives are very bad for(對(duì)。。。不好) us.
A. Right B. Wrong C. Not mentioned分析:大家繼續(xù)看文章第一段,看到這樣一句話:But doctors say that some additives can be bad for us.
3. Sally has been the same as any other little girl since she was born.
A. Right B. Wrong C. Not mentioned
Sally is two years old and quite an ordinary little girl. But when she was younger, she never went to sleep at night. She never got tired.
4. Sally could sleep well when she stopped eating foods with additives.
A. Right B. Wrong C. Not mentioned
我們發(fā)現(xiàn)第二段里有這樣一句話:Sally started(開(kāi)始) to eat foods without(沒(méi)有) additives, she began to sleep well(睡得好) at night.
5. In the past, Sally ate a lot of foods with additives.
A. Right B. Wrong C. Not mentioned
Sally’s parents took her to a special doctor. He said that she must never eat food with additives in it. He was sure that the additives had a very bad effect on her body, and made her too active(活躍的). He was quite correct.
